Easter Egg Hunt

we had such a great time this morning at the easter egg hunt at kingwood high school.
unfortunately, patrick came down with a 104 fever last night which ended up being from tonsillitis and an ear infection...so my precious mother in law came out and helped me with the kiddos. it was a perfect morning for it, and jett loved it.

field for 1 and 2 year olds.
a bit overwhelmed by it all...but ready to hunt for "eggos"
silly boy.
harper was great as always.
my precious boy.
love.

"i want to be a tiger."
"i want it off!" not a fan after realizing what his face looked like.
i don't want to ever forget this adorable baby face.
"roar!"

happy easter!
hope everyone has a special day as we celebrate our risen Savior!

4 Months!

Harper Joy is already 4 months old! I can't believe it! She weighs 14.5 lbs which is the 67th percentile for weight, and she is 26 inches long which puts in the 97th percentile for height! She is such an INCREDIBLE baby and we fall more and more in love with her every day.
Here is our sweet pea at 4 months.

So Harper Has Glasses...

This cutie-pa-tootie will be sportin' these glasses for at least the next several months. Our pediatrician noticed at her 2 month check up that her eyes tend to go in...so he referred us to an ophthalmologist and basically her eyes need to be strengthened. So the plan is for her to wear these adorable glasses in hopes that the prescription in them will strengthen her eye muscles, and eventually, not have to wear the glasses anymore. It could take several months or a couple of years for her eyes to have the strength needed. If the glasses don't work then there is a muscle surgery that can be performed. So we are obviously praying that these glasses work and surgery can be prevented.

I may be biased, but isn't she still so adorable?
